About Us

Welcome to SCC Builds! With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, I am proud to introduce myself as the founder of SCC Builds, dedicated to craftsmanship and elevating the customer experience.

My journey began as an apprentice carpenter to Allen Anderson in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, where I honed my skills in building custom homes and renovations. Over six years, I immersed myself in construction, in every aspect of the trade.

In search of new challenges and opportunities, my wife and I ventured to Bala, Ontario, where I joined Muskoka building company specializing in high-end homes. For seven years, I contributed to crafting luxurious residences, learning the intricacies of arts and craft construction.

But it was during one of our travels out west that I discovered  another passion – the mountains. Entranced by their majesty and the vibrant lifestyle they offered, we settled in Banff, Alberta. Here, I had the privilege of restoring iconic landmarks such as the Banff springs Hotel, Jasper Park Lodge, Château Lake Louise, and the Swiss guides cabin. I spent a year as a ski bum resorting the lake louise ski hills main lodge nothing like making the first turns on the hill to get to work.

My expertise expanded further as I delved into project management, overseeing the construction of high-end homes in downtown Calgary and medium-sized commercial buildings across the Bow Valley and Calgary.

Yet, the call of home beckoned, leading us back to Bobcaygeon in 2016, where we fulfilled our dream of owning a farm.Having two wonderful children and embracing the opportunity to contribute to the local community.

The vision for SCC Builds emerged from a deep-rooted desire to infuse craftsmanship into every project and revolutionize the construction process for our clients. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for turning dreams into reality, I find immense joy in witnessing the awe on our clients' faces as their visions come to life.
